Self-initiated proof of concept
There currently is a worldwide shortage of organs suitable for transplantation. Many are put off from organ donation because of prejudice, while others don’t realise they need to opt in at their medical practice.
Devised over the course of a two-day design challenge, Donate Now is the blueprint for an advertising campaign telling the stories of those who became organ donors.
The campaign celebrates people who decided to opt in to organ donation before their death. Their organs were passed on to those in need, and they will be remembered forever for their generosity.
Making more and more people aware of donation would boost the number of donors. This, in turn, would contribute to shorter transplantation waiting lists and higher chances of survival.
